Question: How do you use Advanced Search Commands to research your competition online?

Answer: Regarding competitor back links, there are tools that you can use to find them. If you don’t have access to those tools or you choose not to use them, you can usually find a few of the links your competitor may have by searching for one or two of their keywords and their name. For our company, it might look something like [“Vertical Measures” link building]. This way, when Vertical Measures has been mentioned in conjunction with a keyword I am interested in, I can see the site that mentioned them and these mentions usually accompany links. You may then be able to contact the webmaster and see if your business might fit into their website as well in some area.
