$1,000 Scholarship Poetry Contest
Our student poetry contest is open to High School (9th grade +), College, and Post Graduate students of any age currently enrolled in school who have a knack for poetry. Do you have what it takes to write a short or long poem with a few of the keywords below? Then you’re the perfect candidate to enter our Valentine’s Day inspired contest.
Prizes:
2nd Place- $250 Scholarship
Deadline: All entries must be received between February 1, 2010 and February 19, 2010 by 11:59PM. 5 Finalists will be announced on Monday February 22nd on our blog. At that time voting will begin to determine the winners. Finalists will get a chance to have their friends and family vote for their entry to win! Check back to our blog on February 24th to see who won.
There is no length requirement associated with this poetry contest, all we ask is that you provide us with a romantic, funny, or inspirational poem using at least three keywords below (subject to official rules and regulations). To help you get the creative juices flowing check out these examples:
