		<description><![CDATA[I work with EMDs a lot and it&#039;s not true to say that they no longer have value. The key is understanding that &#039;low quality&#039; EMDs no longer have an advantage. That&#039;s typically long keyword names with poor content designed only to get SERP results. The better EMDs in my client base haven&#039;t moved and some have gone up the ranks.

The EMD advantages that remain are that good ones have kudos and they do impact on the text link profile by virtue of the name.]]></description>

I look forward to seeing their algorithm detect spun content - that should clear the serps quite a bit. It&#039;s clear that with the recent changes, SEO has become more expensive; the days where you were ranking fine by blasting hundreds or thousands of low quality article marketing links are gone for good.]]></description>
