Elise:

I enjoyed this interview with Todd. I do have a question with regards to PR vs mozrank. When I read seomoz's definition of their ranking, they state that mozrank is typically aligned fairly close with Google PR up until about PR 7/8. If this is truly the case and Google toolbar PR is less of a concern these days, why would mozrank be any different? I understand they also have domain ranking as well, I am just curious as many places I visit now prefer mozrank.

Thank you,
Lisa

Elise:

Todd made many good points, adding value to your post. As a legal professional engaged in the link-building process and attempting to drive traffic to my blogs and law firm website, I read your interview with great interest. One thing caught my eye, however, concerning Todd's blog. I copied the link you put and posted it to my blog-roll, but noticed that other than two posts in January, Todd has been very lax on this blog; it's been silent since July other than those two January 2011 posts. What gives? Is this the primary blog he maintains? If so, he's violating one of the cardinal rules of blogging; posting infrequently. Perhaps he has another blog with more frequent posts dealing with this important subject.
